Pierre joined Morro Ventures in May 2021. Prior to Morro Ventures, Pierre was a portfolio manager on Morgan Stanley Investment Management’s (MSIM) Emerging Markets Growth Fund, a $20B long-only equity fund, focused on the Latin America and EMEA regions. He joined MSIM in 2013 to help start and raise the Frontier Markets Equity Fund ($1.6B AUM) and the Emerging Markets Small-Cap Fund. Prior to joining MSIM, Pierre was a fundamental research analyst covering international industrials on William Blair Investment Management’s International Growth Funds ($35B AUM). Pierre was also a Vice President at ING Financial Markets and Morgan Stanley in LATAM and EMEA Equity Research Sales. Previous to joining Morro Ventures, Pierre was an active early-stage angel investor with a focus on LatAm Fintech. Pierre received an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, where he was a Toigo Fellow, and a B.S. in finance and marketing from the University of Florida.
